A day in New York City

We started early this morning by taking our shuttle at 7:30a.m. from the hotel to the airport, where we picked up the New Jersey express into NYC. We're staying in Newark, NJ near the Newark airport. It took about an hour to get into the city. We got to ride through the Lincoln tunnel. I didn't get a picture of that, but maybe tomorrow when we go through it again. We saw all kinds of sites in New York. We took the buses and subways, but walked quite a bit too. Ben got around very well on his crutches. He's tired, but not completely worn out. We stopped for breaks and got to rest on the bus here and there. We took a 3-hour boat tour all around Manhattan Island. We got A LOT of pictures! After all our sightseeing, we left NYC around 6:30p.m. and got back to the hotel around 8:00p.m., so it was a good 12 or so hour day.

I will try to post pics in groups by topic. There are many that we took for the kids because we thought they'd like them. We're having a fabulous time together and enjoying seeing all the sights.
