Ben's stitches were removed on Thursday. They put steri-strips on to ensure that the incisions don't open. He was given the okay to get his foot wet so now he can take showers without wrapping his foot in a plastic bag. It looks like everything is healing quite well. The wire rods will stay in to keep the bones in place while the healing continues. They will be taken out on July 2.
