At the Pumpkin Patch

We had a fun time picking out pumpkins today at a local pumpkin patch run by the First United Methodist Church. The proceeds benefit a summer camp at the local college here. The girls had a great time at that camp this past summer and we hope to have them and Garrett attend next year.

There were lots and lots of pumpkins to choose from. Eventually, the kids each picked a large pumpkin and a small one. We put them in the car and went on the hay ride. It was bumpy and fun. We were glad we took the ride when we did, because a large youth group was heading toward the hayride entrance when our ride was ending.

We went to Five Guys Bugers N Fries for dinner and really enjoyed those delicious burgers and huge servings of fries! We had a nice evening together. Sunday evenings are about the only time all of us are home at the same time, so it is always great to find something fun to do.

The challenge of getting all three to look at the camera AND smile AND have their eyes open AND not have hair over their face AND blah blah blah. Makes for a lot of laughs trying to get that perfect shot.

Such a beautiful young lady.
the shoes, not so much. :-)
Good job, Garrett! You found the perfect pumpkin.

Cute little sweetie
